· In the workshop scene, a close-up shot of Ryback (Seagal) slicing open an enemy’s main artery in his thigh is missing, along with blood gushing from the wound.
· Immediately after this, the close-up shot of Ryback stabbing the same guy in the armpit twice with the full length of his knife blade is cut.
· Following this, the shot of the guy falling down the wall crying with blood gushing from his armpit is missing.
· After Ryback shoves the last bad guy onto the buzzsaw, we fail to completely see Ryback grab him and knee him up onto the rotating saw blade. Some of this is left intact on the DVD but is totally eliminated from the pan-and-scan VHS version.
· Right after this, a shot of the blade cutting through the bad guy’s shoulder, complete with chippings of bone and oozing blood, has been cut.
· In the fight Ryback has with the last man just before the Strannix (Tommy Lee Jones) showdown, there is a small section missing where we see Ryback ripping out the bad guy’s Adam’s Apple.
· In the final fight between Ryback and Strannix, we fail to see the slow-motion shot of blood and chunks of gore coming out of Strannix’ eye socket after Ryback removes his thumb from it.
